When you come play the Cedar Knob Golf Course, you will experience some of the best golf in north central Connecticut. Our Somers golf course is 18-holes and is perfect for all levels of golfers to be challenged while having a blast. Our idealyic settings will let you step away from life for a little while and focus on your golf passion. Our professionaly designed course will challenge you to reduce your score on our fairways, numerous water hazards and tactically placed sand traps. Most people who play our course love it so much, they book their next tee time after their round of golf.
Cedar Knob Golf Course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish and built in 1963. From start to finish, tall cedars lend a dramatic backdrop to most fairways. Especially memorable are the 10th and 18th holes. Both bend right to left through stately evergreens and call for forced water carries off the tees or on the approach at this Somers golf course.
Cedar Knob provides a blend of unique holes and risk/reward opportunities which will make for an enjoyable experience at all levels of play. You will never tire of playing Somers golf. We also offer several golf lesson and membership packages to provide you the best value. We encourage you to request a tour of our facility, and welcome any questions you may have. Contact our Pro Shop for all the details and benefits to our golf lessons and memberships.
