Double Exposure: Paul Nicklen & Cristina Mittermeier

Double Exposure: Two Photographers, One Mission showcases the celebrated work of esteemed wildlife photographers Paul Nicklen and Cristina Mittermeier. The exhibition shows from May 1st to June 26th, 2023 at the C. Parker Gallery, 409 Greenwich Avenue, CT. With a special appearance by the photographers the weekend of May 6th. 

“We are honored  to host two of the world’s most celebrated photographers whose images grace the walls of private collections around the world and have been featured in prestigious publications such as National Geographic and TIME Magazine,” says Tiffany Benincasa principal of C. Parker Gallery. “This is an incredible opportunity to witness the beauty of nature in an intimate and personal way. Our gallery is thrilled to share their important message and join their mission advocating for greater conservation and environmental awareness ” 

Nicklen is a Canadian photographer, filmmaker, and marine biologist who has documented the beauty and plight of our planet for more than twenty-five years. From his early start as a field biologist in Canada's Far North, he has strived to forge a unique bond between subject and viewer through sensitivity and a unique eye for reflecting the natural world in extreme conditions.
