BEAR-DSLEY ZOO!
Come paw through bear books at Derby Public Library to find zoo prizes!
On Saturday, June 17, children and their families are invited to search through books on bears, both fiction and non fiction, in our children’s book department! Find a special card and peel to reveal your prize. There will also be a bear craft/art project and other activities (provided by the Library).
Prizes include... family memberships, animal adoption kits, discounts at the Zoo gift shop, soft serve ice cream cones, carousel rides and more!

Create! STEAM Activity (Ages 10-14)

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) activity geared for tweens/teens ages 10-14 featuring a DIY kit with light assembly. All materials will be provided for the projects and there is no fee. The themes for the projects are a fingerprint kit or an anti-gravity kit; you will choose at pick-up based upon availability. Kits will be available for pick-up anytime 1:00-7:00PM at the MAIN DESK ONLY on the date of the event.

The Beardsley Zoo's zoomobile will be coming to the Derby Public Library
in this event geared for ages 5-11/grades K-6.
Come see a live animal presentation from the Zoo with an outreach educator
sharing fun facts about animals/reptiles for an up-close experience!
