Let your scientific side shine with this DIY STEM levitating lantern craft! Make a lantern that appears to defy gravity and light up your room with your own personal touch. Choose from different colors and have fun learning about electricity!

DIY Teens: Cookies in a Jar
Friday, December 8th at 4 p.m.
Are your family and friends hard to shop for during the holidays? Come make them a gift of cookie mix in a jar! All they will have to do is add the wet ingredients, mix, and bake to have perfect holiday cookies! All supplies will be provided.

Historical Miniature Gaming Club
Wednesday, December 13th at 4 p.m.
Players will participate in strategy based games using painted miniature figures and terrained boards reminiscent of some famous conflicts in history. This month, we will recreate battles during the American Revolution with George Washington.

Movie Monday: Percy Jackson
Monday, December 18th at 4 p.m.
To celebrate the upcoming release of the new Percy Jackson TV series, we are hosting a screening of the original movie! Whether or not you liked the movie, you should come and watch (or hate-watch) and eat some delicious Greek Food!

Teen Advisory Board
Tuesday, December 19th at 6:30 p.m.
Teen Advisory Board meets with the Teen Services Librarian once a month to discuss all things teen for Darien Library. They are responsible for assisting the Library through volunteering at events, helping plan and run Library programs, and acting as a sounding board for new ideas. Plus, there will be pizza!
TAB is open to teens grades 8 and up.
DIY Teens: Hot Chocolate Spoons
Thursday, December 21st at 4 p.m.
Nothing can warm you up better on a cold day than some homemade hot chocolate. Celebrate the first day of winter with these DIY Hot Chocolate Spoons. All you will have to do is stir your spoon with the pre-made hot chocolate mix into either hot water or milk and you will have quick, easy, and delicious hot chocolate!

Every Friday at 3 p.m.
What is the Friday Thing? It's a time to come to the Teen Lounge, eat snacks, do a craft, play some video games with your friends, or talk with our Librarians about the things that you love! It is an open hangout so bring your friends and come spend some time in the Teen Lounge.
