Pick up a kit that includes the featured spice, information, and recipes; available while supplies last. Experiment in the kitchen and bring a creation that incorporates the spice to our Meet & Eat. Open to cooking enthusiasts of all ages.

Create Your Own Faerie House
SAT., OCT. 8, 2 PM

Decorate your very own wee faerie house with an assortment of creative supplies. Geared toward children ages 8+ and their families. One faerie house per family.

Presented by the Florence Griswold Museum, and sponsored by the Groton Public Library Circle of Friends.

William Pack exhumes the tragic life and remarkable writings of this American genius. Registration required. Co-sponsored with Mystic & Noank and Waterford libraries and generously funded by Groton Public Library Circle of Friends.

Eastern CT Paranormal Society: The Truth Behind Investigating the Unknown
WED., OCT. 12, 6:30 PM

This program gives a detailed approach on how to investigate the paranormal, a veritable Paranormal 101, which includes a local investigation with evidence for the audience to review.    

Learn to Play: Betrayal at the House on the Hill

Join the Junior Friends for their seventh annual trunk-or-treat event in the Library's back parking lot. Vehicles will be decorated to celebrate a beloved book or author, and children are encouraged to dress in book-themed costumes. There will be crafts, face painting, and tattoos as well as a book sale. Soft Rock 106.5 will broadcast live, and visitors can purchase lunch from Wicked Wieners.

Library Helper Day
