Food Drive Ends May 31 — Drop off your contributions today!

It may be hard to imagine, by here in Branford more than 30% of our school children qualify for free or reduced lunch programs and one in six people struggles with food insecurity. The Branford Food Pantry provides supplemental groceries for individuals, seniors, and families in need. These people are your neighbors without jobs or who have reduced hours, the elderly living on Social Security, single parents, people with disabilities, and the working poor.

There has been a significant increase the number of individuals/families coming to the Branford Food Pantry. This increased usage has caused a shortage in numerous items. If you’re interested in helping your community, you can bring your donations to the Blackstone Library. We’ll have designated boxes for your donations in our main lobby, and items can be dropped off any time during our open hours.

- Canned meat (such as shelf stable chicken/beef stew/spam)
