Instructional Chess Program

An instructional chess program offered for an eight week fall session will feature a premier area instructor. The program is for players of all ages, beginners welcome. The program will include age and skill appropriate group lessons on strategy, including chess basics, supervised practice play and other instructional and fun chess activities. Program will meet once per week on Wednesdays, 6:00- 7:00 PM. (There is NO class November 22.)

Register: This is a FREE program, provided as part of the Connecticut State Chess Association’s “A Place to Play” Initiative for the Connecticut chess community. The program is co-sponsored by the CSCA, the Meriden Public Library and the US Chess Trust.
