Show your creativity at New Canaan’s favorite pumpkin carving contest! Pumpkins are $35 and prizes will be awarded for Best in Show for Children, Teens, and Adults, Funniest, and Scariest Jack-o-Lanterns. Reserve your pumpkin! All proceeds benefit the Children’s Reading Room and Programming.

Printmaking: Bringing Historic Processes to the Present
An exhibition of work from the Center for Contemporary Printmaking Fall 2023 – Winter 2024. From prehistoric hand stencils to present-day technology, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking presents a brief history of printmaking and printing processes with an exhibition of work from their archives spanning 60 years.

Calling all overdue books: we want you back! We are holding an Overdue Fine Amnesty period through October 15. Whether you still have library books from years ago or a recent, “I forgot I had those out!" we will gladly take them back. No judgement, no fines!
