Business Librarian
Alexandria Robison received her MLIS from the University of Rhode Island, with a focus in Library Administration and Transforming Communities. She is passionate about building relationships with Connecticut small business owners and using her communications background to identify and provide the support businesses and nonprofits need to grow and thrive.

Effective Consumer and Market Research
Saturday, October 14, 2-3 pm
Before you launch a business or a new product it is essential to do both consumer and market research to know if your idea will be successful. In this session, we will look at databases available for FREE through the library that makes this daunting task manageable and straightforward. Afterward you will have the skills to find local competitors, assess market and consumer trends, and identify your potential customer base.

Logo Design Series | Part 1: Concept Workshop
Wednesday, October 18, 6-7:30 pm
Do you want your brand to shine? Start with a strong, eye-catching logo design. Participants will be guided through a hands-on design exercise on paper, to focus on color, line, and shape. No computers will be used, and no design experience required!
Logo Design Series | Part 2: Canva Workshop
Saturday, October 21, 1-3 pm
Intimidated by Illustrator and Photoshop? We feel you. Join us for an interactive logo design workshop using Canva, Participants will be introduced to the Canva interface and review logo ideas as a group before diving into a logo design hour. No design experience required!
