STEAM activities are an excellent opportunity to introduce these concepts and promote skills that can set you up for creative, scientific, and collaborative thinking, now and in the future. Tellabration: a Celebration of Oral Tradition for families

Tellabration is a mammoth storytelling event - and that's no tall tale! It's a storytelling phenomenon, made up of dozens of happenings all over the world. It's purpose is to introduce adults and children to the pleasures of the oral art of storytelling, which is truly an interactive experience. And, you now have two chances to attend.

Meris Palmer, is a certified teacher who tells stories to audiences of all ages. Her repertoire includes: folktales, ethnic tales and literary stories; she offers plenty of interactive opportunities and is known to bring a puppet or two. Her enthusiasm and passion for creativity will be sure to enthrall multiple ages.

Anne-Marie Forer is fortunate to be doing her dream job, combining music, storytelling and teaching! All of her programs include songs, stories, fingerplays, movement and rhythm. When your feelings don’t fit into words, art is there to give them shape. Join Health Care Advocates International’s Youth and Family Program Director Tony Ferraiolo as he presents a workshop on using art as a window to talk about love and kindness.
