Back to School Concert
Wednesday, September 6th @ 5:30 pm
Come and lounge on our lawn and listen to this multicultural concert for both kids and adults. Experience both Brazilian and American music with the Brazilian Jazz Trio!
If there is bad weather then the concert will be moved to Monday, Sept. 13th at the same time.
Coloring pages will be posted on our programs page, and there will be hard copies provided at the library starting on September 1st.
Please hand in pages by September 30th.
Winners will be announced October 2nd.
There are prizes for all winners!!!

Clear Day Thunder: Rescuing the American Chestnut Screening
Thursday, September 28th @ 6:30 pm, TOWN HALL ASSEMBLY ROOM
Join us to screen this new documentary film that tells the story of passionate citizen scientists and researchers working to restore the American Chestnut Tree, a ecologically and economically important species.
At the turn of the 20th century, a deadly blight accidentally imported into the U.S. from Asia devastated the American Chestnut. Within a span of only two generations, the tree was nearly extinct. Through this film we hope to learn how others are working to bring this iconic and important tree back into our future.
Run time: 53 minutes. A member of the Chestnut Society will attend and be available to answer questions following the film.
