With the celebration of the 15-day Lunar New Year festival in full swing in China, we feature the Cloudscape Library in the city of Haikou on the island of Hainan in the South China Sea. The Library's free-flowing form celebrates the liquid nature of concrete and has been called a floating concrete cloud, thus its name. The unusual sculpted form creates sheltered spaces outside and comfortable seating areas inside featuring views of the sea.
Cloudscape or Wormhole? "The project hides its structure, supports and mechanical systems so completely that it looks fluid. The pavilion’s seamless shape, defined by its openings, resembles a vessel that descended from space. Which might explain why the building has come to be known as the Wormhole Library."

Professional puppeteer, clown, and magician Honey Goodenough (AKA "Funny Honey") has created a fun and interactive experience that delights all audiences, young and old.
