This Week At Darien Library - April 29 - May 3, 2023

From: Darien Library
May 2, 2023

At Harvard University in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Cecilia Payne, Annie Jump Cannon, and a group of women known as the “Harvard Computers” overcame prejudice, denigration, and opposition to change the course of modern astronomy.

Follow their journey to the stars and their battles for recognition, respect, and equality in a beautiful theatrical production of "Insignificant" by Sean Michael Welch.

Save your seat in the Community Room on Sunday, April 30th at 2 p.m.
