We're so happy to welcome back Walt Woodward, Connecticut State Historian, for a talk on "Leaving Connecticut, Shaping America," on Friday, May 13th at 7 p.m. at the Barkhamsted Senior Center. The talk covers the migration out of Connecticut from 1780-1830 and discusses people who left Barkhamsted for Ohio and other places, at that time.
Walt will also bring copies of his latest book "Creating Connecticut, Critical Moments that Shaped a Great State" for purchase and signing.
