We have moved out of the Durham Activity Center, 350 Main Street. Until we transition into the new Community Center (the old Korn School), here is what’s happening:

Senior lunches: Lunches for folks aged 60 or older will be held at the United Churches, 228 Main Street, Mondays and Wednesdays from 11AM – 1PM with lunch served at noon. Please sign up by Wednesday each week for the following week by calling, emailing, or using the sign-up sheets available during lunch. Join us!

Knitters: The Knitting Group will meet at the Durham Public Library, Tuesdays from 9AM – 12PM starting July 5th. This group also meets at the Middlefield Community Center, 405 Main Street, Thursdays from 9AM – 12PM. No reservation needed.

Food pantry: Please contact the Human Services office for an appointment.

Donations: Can be left on the first floor of the Town Hall Monday – Friday.

Human Services Office: Phone: (860) 349-3153 ? Email: mperry@townofdurhamct.org
It is recommended to call for an appointment as this office works from the Town Hall, United Churches, food pantry, and in the community and may flex time based on client needs. Hours: Monday: 7AM-2PM, Tuesday: 7AM-1PM, Wednesday: 7AM-2PM, Thursday: 7AM-12PM.
