Everyday Democracy, in partnership with CCM is looking for youth, parents, volunteers, or community leaders who are interested in the Connecticut Civic Ambassadors Program. 

Connecticut?Civic?Ambassadors?are?a?unique group of?civic?leaders who?are part of?a?national movement to strengthen?civic?health?and?civic?engagement in our communities.?Civic?Ambassadors?are?non-partisan?agents of change in their communities, creating opportunities for others to bring?about positive, equitable change in their neighborhoods,?cities, or towns.? You can learn more about the important work?Civic?Ambassadors?are doing in the brochure attached to this email. 

Why would you want to become a CT Civic Ambassador??Civic?Ambassadors participate in the?annual?Connecticut?Civic?Ambassadors Summit.?There they?learn from?and participate in panels?and workshops with other?Civic?Ambassadors; they?also learn from?nationally renowned guest speakers,?activists, organizers,?and?trainers.? Civic?Ambassadors?also?attend various free workshops held every year.? And,?Civic?Ambassadors receive?a?monthly newsletter with?a?wealth of information on?civic?engagement opportunities, trainings,?and upcoming events on?a?wide range of topics--from non-partisan voter registration?to community organizing; to special trainings and speakers; to?civic?leadership opportunities; to community gardens,?food?and clothing, and blood drives; to public hearings?and legislation; and so on.
