Town of Haddam - Center Sidewalks

As of June 30, 2022 - CTDOT signed the final encroachment permit and the contractor plans to start work as soon as he receives it. As early as next week.  

He will begin with sidewalk removal at the southern end (Jail Hill Road) of the project.

The contract for the Haddam Center Sidewalks has been awarded and they are authorized to proceed.

This is a complete removal and replacement of the sidewalks on the east side from the jail to the cemetery. The contractor is Costa and Sons out of Windsor, CT.  

The contract permits work from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. CBYD was marked out on Friday, May 20, 2022.

First will be clearing trees outside the Route 154 ROW.

Sidewalk work will start as soon as CTDOT issues the final Encroachment Permit, which typically takes 2-4 weeks to issue.
