Under the general supervision of the Mechanic Foreperson, Assistant Highway Superintendent and Highway Superintendent, performs skilled work in the repair and maintenance of specialized and complex automotive, heavy truck and construction equipment; and performs related work as required.

Qualifications
• Completion of High School or technical school. • Completion of post graduate technical school (New hires only). • Three years’ experience in mechanical repair work. • Must have a tool box with all basic tools required in the trade subject to the satisfaction of the Town. License or Certificate: A valid class “B” Connecticut Commercial Driver’s License.
