From: Town of Old Lyme
January 23, 2023

Please help us welcome Amy Bonatti as our new Social Services Coordinator. She started in this part-time position this week, and can be reached at 860-434-1605 ext. 228.

The Town Clerk’s office is happy to report that Cott Systems, Inc., our land record management company is back online. All land record recordings have been processed and are up-to-date.

Our tax office has been very busy accepting the second installment of real estate payments. The deadline for payment without incurring any interest is Wednesday, February 1st.

COVID-19 Test Kits: We continue to have Antigen Rapid Test Kits at the Town Hall for Old Lyme residents to pick up FREE. Limit of 2 test boxes per resident. You may notice that they are about to expire at the end of this month, however, please know the expirations have been extended by the FDA for an additional three months.

Please note the Annual Town Meeting location is at the Memorial Town Hall and NOT the Lyme Old Lyme Middle School. Copies of the Town’s annual report will be available at the in-person (no hybrid option) Annual Town Meeting, on Monday, January 23, at 7:30 p.m. at the Memorial Town Hall. After a short agenda, the Citizen of the Year will be announced.

Did you know that the Town Hall has an American Flag Repository Box? Old, worn out flags can be put in the box to be properly retired with respect by Boy Scout Troop 26.

-Tim Griswold, First Selectman
