CITIZEN OF THE YEAR & ANNUAL TOWN REPORT
During the Annual Town Meeting on January 23rd, we announced our 2022 Citizen of the Year - the talented Edie Twining. Edie is an active volunteer who has served the Town for many years. She is Chair of the Halls Road Improvement Committee and was a member of the Economic Development Commission. She is also on the board of the Old Lyme Land Trust and the board of the Old Lyme Historical Society. She has also helped with the Old Lyme Arts District, the Make Music Old Lyme event and the Explore Old Lyme website. Congratulations, Edie!

Board of Finance Chair, David Kelsey, and the Selectmen also recognized Michele Dickey for her 30 years of dedication serving as the Editor of the Town’s Annual Report. Michele is retiring as the Editor and the Board of Finance will announce her successor soon.

VACCINE CLINIC
The LedgeLight Health District will be sponsoring a VACCINE CLINIC on Monday, February 6th from 12 – 2 PM at the Lymes’ Senior Center, located at 26 Town Woods Road, Old Lyme. The regular flu shot will be available (not a high dose) and the COVID shot will also be available. You may receive one or both of the vaccines that day. If you are interested in the COVID vaccine, please remember to bring your COVID vaccination card. The vaccines are available to anyone over the age of 18 with no cost requirement. This is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS and is a WALK-IN SERVICE ONLY. There will be NO RESERVATIONS taken and vaccines will be given until they run out.  

JOB OPPORTUNITY
