Change Yor Clock, Change Your Battery
“Spring Ahead”! This weekend you will be turning your clocks ahead one hour for the start of daylight savings time. Sunday, March 12th, is the big day. When you do turn ahead your clocks remember to change the batteries in your smoke alarm, too. Smoke alarm batteries need to be changed at least twice a year. This simple act cuts the risk of dying in a home fire nearly in half. Also, be sure to test that smoke alarm at least once a month. Smoke alarms more than 10 years old should be replaced.

This is a lifesaving reminder to “Change you Clock, Change your Battery” from the Wilton Fire Department. For more safety tips and other useful information, call us at (203) 834-6249.
