The Groton Public Library will host a book discussion of “West with Giraffes” by Lynda Rutledge. Part adventure, part historical saga, and part coming-of-age love story, this novel explores what it means to be changed by the grace of animals, the kindness of strangers, the passing of time, and a story told before it’s too late. African Travel Program

Mystic resident Larry Reiter will share photos, videos, and stories from his and his wife Betty Anne’s recent trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. Please join us at the Groton Public Library to hear about their encounters with elephants, leopards, cheetahs, and, of course, lions.
Italy: A Cultural Journey

Ashley Graves Turney from L'Esperta Travel will share the culture of Italy and offer travel advice to interested attendees.
