Urgent Mental Health Care Assessment Presentation
Monday, April 10, 11 am, lunch immediately following, free

Dr. Andrew J. Gerber, Silver Hill’s President and Medical Director, will discuss the new, New Canaan Urgent Assessment program. The Town of New Canaan has partnered with Silver Hill Hospital to provide adults, children and adolescent residents in urgent need of mental health treatment with a timely psychiatric assessment and tailored referral for ongoing care with no out-of-pocket cost. Join us to learn more about this valuable resource available to all residents. Lunch will be served immediately after the program.

Join Steph for a lively discussion of Walter Lord's 1955 non-fiction best-seller, still considered the definitive resource about the RMS Titanic. Lord interviewed 63 survivors of the disaster and drew on books, memoirs and articles written about the sinking of the "unsinkable" ship.

This year is the 25th anniversary of James Cameron's epic film incorporating both historical and fictionalized aspects of the sinking of the Titanic. 3 hours, 14 minutes.

New Canaan Chamber Music
New Canaan Chamber Music announces its next two concerts will be held at the New Canaan Library in the Jim and Dede Bartlett Auditorium on Friday May 5th and Sunday May 7th! Tickets go on sale on April 1st at www.newcanaanchambermusic.org.

Friday, May 5th at 7pm is the "Pulling Out All the Stops" Concert with Andrew Armstrong, pianist and an ensemble of 10 acclaimed musicians from Europe and the U.S. performing masterpieces including Mendelssohn's heralded String Octet in E-Flat Major!

Sunday, May 7th at 3pm is the first Concert for Children and Families with Andrew Armstrong, pianist and 4 world-class musicians performing selections from  Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns and Franz Schubert's Trout Quintet. Children ages 4 to 18 will be admitted free with a supervising adult ticket holder.

Lapham is open to all adult residents of New Canaan.
