Cookbook Club - Recipes From Ghana
Thursday, May 19, 12PM

The Weston Public Library Cookbook Club is an opportunity for those who love cooking to share favorite recipes and try new recipes with neighbors and friends!

In May, the Library will continue its participation in the State Library's All CT Reads program by featuring recipes from Ghana to tie in with this year's adult book selection, Transcendent Kingdom  by Gyasi.

We'll discuss our recipes and share tips and tricks. Send recipes to ktatarka@westonct.gov by 5/18 and we'll distribute the recipes to the group following the meeting!

Looking for favorite recipes from previous meetings? You can check out all of the recipes here

Please register.

Friends of the Weston Library Photography Club Reception
May 14, 3-5PM

Join the Weston Commission for the Arts for a reception for the Friends of the Weston Library Photography Club's current exhibition, “Texture Line Shape."

“Texture Line Shape” is the club’s fourth exhibition. Members have recently taken advantage of Zoom and collaborated with the much larger Stamford Photography Club, which offers monthly competitions and an educational speaker. The affiliation, which the Weston club hopes will continue, also provides an opportunity for members to interact with a wider range of experienced and accomplished photographers. The show will be on display in the Library's Community Room through the end of June.
