Community artists of all ages have their work on display at various locations through June 17. Opening receptions take place at the Main Library on May 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and May 17 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Harry Bennett branch.

James M. Scott, Author of Black Snow

As part of the annual lecture series, Scott will discuss his latest book, Black Snow: Curtis LeMay, the Firebombing of Tokyo and the Road to the Atomic Bomb. Drawing on first-person accounts, the author reconstructs the March 10, 1945 American attack on Tokyo, which represented a significant moral shift for America, marking the first time military commanders deliberately targeted civilians. Registration required.

Covid-19 Vaccination Clinics
Tuesdays through Fridays in May and June from 1 to 5 p.m.
Lower Level Community Area
Free Covid-19 vaccines and boosters are available to adults and children from 1 to 5 p.m. No appointment necessary. Please bring your vaccine and insurance cards if you have them. In addition to primary vaccines, Pfizer and Moderna Bivariant boosters will be available Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays through June 30.
This clinic is offered in partnership with the Stamford Health Department and Griffin Health.
Tell Your Story Project
We have resumed our oral history project, Tell Your Story, an effort to capture Stamford's history through the lives of its residents. If you are a long-time resident and would like to share memories of growing up in Stamford, please let us know. We welcome photos and other memorabilia, too.
