Paint Outside the Lines

10:30am - 11:30am

Start the day with a little expression! Join us at the Wilson Branch as we enjoy a shared story and use it as inspiration for our paintings. We will read the story first and then paint based on the story (although little ones can certainly paint anything they desire). Registration is not necessary.

Crochet Club

6:00pm - 7:00pm

Join Kidspace’s brand new Crochet Club. This club is a great opportunity to meet other crafters and develop a new skill. Come with a project or start something new. Caregivers who are interested can participate as well. If you have supplies you would like to use please bring them. Hooks and yarn provided. Ages 10 and up.

Little Sprouts

STEM inspired play that explores concepts through sensory. For your little sprouts ages 16 months – 24 months. Siblings are welcome to attend, but do not need to register.

Special Storytime

Our special storytime is “Wolfenoot Day” Come celebrate folktales about the Spirit of the Wolf and kindness. It's also a day to encourage people to show kindness to animals. This program is for ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Stories, jokes, poems and crafts are always included! Please register.

Sustainability Book Club

Join us for an environmentally focused book club. We'll be meeting to read and discuss an assortment of books that are focused on sustainability and the environment. Come to talk about the book as well as get helpful tips and tricks to make your life more sustainable. In November we will be discussing "The Light Pirate" by Lily Brooks-Dalton. Information on hurricane preparedness will be available to coincide with this month's novel. Books are available at the Lending Desk. Please register.

Disguise a Gingerbread

Disguise a Gingerbread so that they don’t become someone’s holiday treat! Pick up a gingerbread template and get creative decorating your gingerbread with craft supplies. You can disguise them as your favorite character from a book or movie.

Jeana Burke from the American Job Center of CT is coming back to the Main Library. Jeana will work with people ages 18-24 to help them gain entry into fast growing fields like healthcare, manufacturing, IT, and more. Registration suggested.

Teens and Tweens are invited to play Dungeons and Dragons on the first Saturday of each month at the Wilson Branch Library. No experience necessary!
