Paint Outside the Lines

Start the day with a little expression! Join us at the Wilson Branch as we enjoy a shared story and use it as inspiration for our paintings. We will read the story first and then paint based on the story (although little ones can certainly paint anything they desire). Registration not necessary.

Do you want to be technologically independent, but don't know where to start? Stop by the Wilson Branch Library to learn Computer Basics! Together, we will go over basic tasks to get you familiar with computers, smartphones, and more.

Bring Your Gadgets to the Geek

Bring Your Gadgets to the Geeks is at the Main Library, in Meeting Room 2 on the lower level. Drop in with your device and your questions, as always the advice is free.

Nightmare on Broad Street

First Town Downtown and Windsor Federal Savings present “Nightmare on Broad Street.” The evening’s festivities will take place on Broad Street (which will be closed.) Stop by the Main Library for your tricks or treats! We can’t wait to see you in your costume!

Afternoon Book Club

Join our Afternoon Book Club for a lively discussion of West with Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge. This will be a hybrid program. Participants can either join us in person in Meeting Room 2 or login from home using Zoom. Books are available at the Lending Desk, one month prior to each meeting. Registration is required.

Calling all school age scientists, engineers, mathematicians and inventors to this fun hands on program. This month we will explore the world of electric charges, resulting in attractive and repulsive forces between objects. What can you create using magnets? Test how heavy an object can be pulled by your magnet! For children 6-11 years old. Registration is needed.

Get to Know Your Makerspace

Drop in on select Thursdays from now through December, and get to know our Makerspace. Each session will focus on 1-2 machines. Come to one, or come to all! Learn what tools are available for you to use, and get the creative juices flowing!

Let's make a masterpiece! Paint by Number is a relaxing way to create art because the hard part is already done. Watch your painting come to life by just adding the corresponding paint color to your canvas. Open to teens ages 12-18. Supplies and seating are limited. Registration required.
