We love all things gingerbread!

Disguise a Gingerbread

Now thru December 23

Disguise a Gingerbread so that they don’t become someone’s holiday treat! Pick up a gingerbread template and get creative decorating with craft supplies. You can disguise them as your favorite character from a book or movie. Turn it in on December 16 to be part of a seasonal display. All Ages.

“I Survived…” Book Club

Wednesday, December 13, 6:00pm - 7:00pm

The “I Survived” Book Club, is based on the series of the same name. Would you survive these catastrophes and calamities? Have fun discussing what you would do! This month, will we survive the San Francisco Earthquake? Ages 7-12. Please register.

Young Explorers

Thursday, December 14, 10:30am - 11:30am

Register

Travel to countries and U.S. states to learn about people, animals and much more. For our adventure this month we will become Time Travelers and visit places in different ages before we were born and in the future! Pack your bag, get your boarding pass and grab your passport! Stories, jokes, crafts and activities are all part of this program for ages 3-5 years old. Registration is required. 

Afternoon Book Club

Join our Afternoon Book Club for a lively discussion of The Rewind by Allison Winn Scotch. This will be a hybrid program. Participants can join us in person in Meeting Room 2 or login from home using Zoom. Books are available at the Lending Desk. Registration is required.

Gingerbread Party featuring Joy Blooms!

The annual Wilson Branch Gingerbread Party is back and this year we have a special guest: musician Joy Blooms! We will be keeping the bells ringing and our hearts singing, as we celebrate the season and get ready to welcome the New Year! Each child will receive a gingerbread kit to create at their leisure. Supplies are limited.

Library Closing

Friday, December 15, 12:30 pm

The Main Library and the Wilson Branch will close so that employees may join their fellow Town of Windsor Coworkers for our annual employee appreciation event. Normal hours will resume Saturday.

Northern Lights Pastels

Saturday, December 16, 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Drop in for a relaxing afternoon of drawing one of nature’s most beautiful phenomena-the northern lights! We'll follow along with a video tutorial to create our drawings using pastels on black cardstock. Open to ages 12-18. No registration required.
