Summer Reading kicks off on June 24th! Save the date!

What to expect for Read Beyond the Beaten Path

It's almost summer again! Another school year is in the books, but we know reading adventures can't stop at the final school bell in June. Join us for summer reading this year with our 2022 theme Read Beyond the Beaten Path! This theme looks to celebrate the outdoors as well as taking the path less often taken. Starting June 24th, summer reading logs will be available at both the Windsor Public Library Main Library and the Wilson Branch. Want your log early? Come to the Wilson Branch's Juneteenth celebration on June 18th to get your reading log early!

We'll be offering raffle prizes throughout the summer as well as a stacked schedule of activities to keep your summer busy! Different from previous years, we'll have weekly themes for the full eight weeks of summer reading. That's eight different themes! Each week that you turn in your reading log, you will get to make your own pin specially designed for that week's theme.

Even better? You get to add that pin to a special lanyard you get when you sign up for summer reading that you'll be able to decorate yourself. Supplies are limited so make sure you sign up early! Also available in limited supplies, each person who signs up for summer reading will get a specially designed 2022 summer reading patch and a book!

This year's summer reading program is limited to ages 0 - 17. We currently are not offering an adult summer reading program.

We can't wait to see you this summer!
