To promote a positive business
climate which best serves our membership and community through business
retention, expansion, and economic development and community support.
Serving our community since 1965.
History The Chamber started in March 1965 with 25 members and currently has
well over 200 members and is rapidly growing. Significant growth in the last
few years has made the Chamber a vibrant organization. The Chamber is involved
in bringing new business to the area, helping its members when called upon and
making Granby a better place to
live by enthusiastically supporting town activities and charities.
Purpose The Granby Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is organized for the purpose of
advancing the commercial, industrial, civic and general interests of Granby
and its trade area. The Chamber is a place to meet other business owners in
town and, through networking, solve problems that are common to all businesses,
with a special focus on small business. At the general meetings learn how to
deal with the recurring challenges of business ownership or be introduced to
new ideas that could be helpful to your business.
Community Involvement GCOC stages and sponsors numerous community affairs,
works with town Government to promote business success, provides annual
scholarships, and many other civic duties.
The Chamber functions at its best when significant participation by its members
is made.
