About Us

New Arts Gallery opened its doors in 1996 exhibiting works by both internationally recognized and newly emerging artists from both the US and abroad. Located 2 hours north of New York City in the scenic countryside of Litchfield, Connecticut, the gallery lies directly between the new Dia: Beacon, in Beacon, NY and Mass MOCA, in North Adams, Massachusetts[map]. The gallery has become recognized for its world class exhibitions as well as its commitment to exhibiting thought provoking, significant works of art in all media. The gallery's program of exhibitions include a schedule of both solo and group exhibitions in the main and north galleries as well as an ongoing rotating exhibit of gallery artists in our lower gallery space. This space allows new visitors and collectors continuous access to the work of all gallery artists. The gallery also maintains a complete portfolio representation of all of our artists that can be accessed at any time upon request both in the gallery, through the mail or on the web.We also are active in the resale of existing collections. The gallery has recently facilitated the resale of works by Andy Warhol, Sol LeWitt, Miro, Milton Avery, and many others to collectors worldwide. We welcome works of note for secondary market sales and actively look to purchase or consign works for this market on an ongoing basis. We welcome your inquiries and thank you for visiting our website and invite you to visit the gallery in Litchfield.
