About Us:
Norton Brothers Fruit Farm is a family farm in Cheshire, Connecticut. Our farm is known as a place for a family outing - we welcome you to come, pick fruit, relax at the picnic tables or on the grass, shop in the farm stand, watch the bees making honey, or just enjoy mother nature and the views she provides on our grounds. So come, you won't be disappointed!

Our farm has a newly converted dairy barn as the retail farm stand where fresh produce, cider, flowers, hay, fresh and frozen pies, cinnamon sugar cider donuts, native honey for those with allergies, jellies and jams, snacks, and seasonal gifts are on display for sale.

The farm has been in the Norton Family since the mid-1700s when a portion of the farmhouse was near the road by the well. Current owners are Betty Hail, Judy Hill, and Phyllis Perry, the three daughters of Judson, one of the "Norton Brothers". Judson and his brother Donald, along with their father, former Cheshire first selectman, Birdsey B. Norton (1892-1954), operated the farm until 2001. Seventh generation Tim Perry, with his brother Brian, his father Tom, his mother Phyllis, and his aunt Judy, keep the farm operating.

Open mid-spring through the winter, the farm has native strawberries as soon as they're ready; blueberries and raspberries for pick-your-own all starting in June; peaches soon after for picking, six varieties of pears, and from August through October over 34 varieties of apples to pick.

Hay rides, pumpkins, scarecrows, and christmas trees and decorations keep everyone busy during the seasons. September and October are the busiest times for area schools to have educational and fun tours throughout the farm. Birthday and other parties can use the farm facilities also.
