The Morrison Gallery

The Morrison Gallery
25 North Main Street
860-927-4501

MORRISON Gallery owner, William Morrison, opened a fine art gallery in Kent, Connecticut in the Winter of 1999, and moved into his 7,000 square foot gallery, which was designed by the Bridgeport Design Group in 2006. The building reflects the historical context of the town of Kent as well as providing a spacious and beautifully lit interior for large sculptures, paintings and installations.

The current roster of 32 artists includes Cleve Gray, Wolf Kahn, Peter Woytuk, Hugh O’Donnell, Alexander Liberman, Michael Steiner, and Robert Andrew Parker.

A remarkable interior, the MORRISON Gallery is large enough to easily exhibit monumental works while conveying a sense of intimacy that allows visitors to experience even the smallest paintings or works on paper. Exhibits are magnified in scope by the gallery’s natural light, and the floor-to-ceiling front windows allow the art to freely converse with the viewer from both outside and inside the gallery.

The MORRISON Gallery also offers a private Client Viewing Room, a Print Room and the East Gallery off the Main space provides a quiet setting for smaller works and special collections. In addition, a beautifully appointed Gallery Apartment across from the gallery (with all amenities) is available for visiting artists and clients.
